    I have two virtual servers, one of them had the CRM 3.0 with the Sql express database 2005, and i migrate the database of CRM 3.0 to the other that have Sql Server 2005 Professional, the case is that when i run the Environment Diagnostics Wizard of CRM 3.0 appear the next error MachineName value [SQL server instance\database name] is invalid, I try to change the SQL Instances name but it gave a error. please help to fix these arror.

    You most likely need to upgrade the SQL express database before migrating it.  Here is an article on how to upgrade.

    thanks donna for help, but the real problem isn't the upgrade because I have Sql standar already installed, the case is that the CRM don,t validate the instances name of sql server that is in other virtual server and display the error  that i have writen adove, and for this reason ican see the reports on CRM reports site too. any idea?

    I thought maybe the root of the problem was due to trying to migrate a SQL Express database to a SQL Standard instance rather than going through an upgrade process.  If not, then I am not sure I understand your environment enough to help.  I apologize for any inconvenience.
