    I've configured the CRM Email Router to work with our test CRM Online deployment and I am able to successfully send emails from the CRM. Both incoming and outgoing tests pass in the E-mail Router Configuration Manager. However, I am unable to receive mail in the CRM Online deployment. Also, I see the following message in the event viewer:

    #23379 - Could not verify the version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM at https://<companyName>.crm.dynamics.com/d18b767714ff43a4ad2282975007647f. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #20BD6D8A

    Is there a separate version of the Email router specifically for CRM Online? I've made sure that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online radio button is selected in the Deployment window. I searched on Google/Bing and I saw a bunch of links to download the CRM Online Email Router, but they are all broken links and the download page no longer exists. Am I completely missing something here?

    I do not think there is a separate version of the E-mail Router for Online. However, after you configure the E-mail router for an online org it cannot be used for an on-premise org.

    I don't have an answer on the error, perhaps a call to Microsoft support will be needed.
