Answered Updating Data

    I imported a bunch of leads and for some reason I must have mapped the address wrong. So it did not import the street address.

     

    I have to original file with all the information and need to know how I can update my lead information that is in CRM. I am running CRM4.

     

    One issue is the file that I used to originally import all the leads was deleted. So all I have is the original file which I created my file to update the leads. "all I did for the import file was delete the fields that I was not going to use"

     

    Also there has been leads that have been deleted from CRM since this export.

     

    All I want to do it be able to get a CSV file with the Leads telephone number have it look for that then update the Street Address with the correct information.

     

    Can someone please help.

    The import utility does not update existing records--it just adds new records.  You will need to delete the existing leads and reimport.

     

    Scribe Insight (www.scribesoft.com) can do updates.
