    Hi All,

    I hope this is a simple one, following on from my expadition into writing a BIDs Report with Fetch XML, I now have a working report with all of the information I need.

    I have one final issue that I cannot get my head round. When desiging the report in Visual Studio (BIDs) I select a layout size of A4 and set out the design of the form, I create the report in CRM using the RDL and then run the report, when I then choose to export to Word or PDF the resulting export layout is much bigger than A4 and results in the report being stretched across multiple pages.

    I cannot figure this out, could someone point me in the right direction for fixing the size and ensuring the resulting export stays in that size, we need to be able to print the reports for customers so it is vital they look right.

    Are you taking into account the page margins?

    This is usually caused by some element expanding beyond the size of the page, so you could try giving elements different background colors and then doing your export  to Word or PDf to see which one is the culprit.

    Thanks Jason,

    With a bit of perseverance and the article you supplied, I now have a report that fits on one page. I did find it odd that if I set the page layout in BIDS to A4 using CM the report always overflowed to a second blank page however when I changed it to Inches it didnt.

    Anyway thanks again for your help.
