I have a new installation of CRM 4.0 Server and Outlook Plugin. Both have been updated with Rollup 7.

I am trying to allow Outlook and CRM to sync tasks. In Outlook --> CRM --> Options --> Synchronization, I attempt to check "My Tasks" and hit "OK" but it pops up a generic error window. I logged into the server and found the below error in the event log. Google found nothing. Can someone help me out?

I could not find anything in the article referencing the problem I have described. It does mention synchronization, but not the options for synchronization. Any other ideas?

I am not aware of any reported issues regarding the ability to set the option in the CRM Outlook client to synchronize Tasks.  This option is set by default to synchronize when the CRM Outlook client is installed so it is curious why you are trying to set a default option?  Was the selection removed at one point and then did not work when you tried to reset it?
