    Hi,
When I tried to install CRM server, In the "Select the Organizational Unit" window, when I click the browse button, an alert is coming..."Unable to browse for Active directory objects".
So I can't select an organizational Unit and to complete the CRM server installation.
What might be the problem?? What is its reason?? How can I solve this??
    Please help me...

    Hi Krishna,

Please make sure that you are logged in to the domain as a user who has administrator-level privileges where Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be installed.
You also need to be member of the Administrators group on the local computer. You cannot install the application as a member from a trusted domain.

If you haven't already I would also encourage you to download and read the Installation guide and make sure you full fill all system and security requirements.

    Hassan.

    Hi Hassan,
Yes, I've logged in as domain administrator. Actually I have successfully installed CRM 4.0 in the same machine before. So hope it is not because of lack of any system requirements. Please help me...

What you are experiencing is because of security settings within your network. I'm surprised you were able to complete the installation previously. Has anything changed? Can you undo the change in settings?

Try the solution at the URL below. It is for v3 but should apply to v4 as well as it is the same error.

Which level of Active Directory you have. Please check installation log and you should see more information.

In certain environments, I've seen odd behavior when running or installing certain applicaitions.  You can right click the crm installation exe and select to Run as Administrator to see if the install behaves differently.
