After installing the CRM 3.0 laptopclient I receive the following error:
"Strong name validation failes for assembly
c:\program files\Microsoft CRM\Client\Res\Web\Bin\Microsoft.Crm.Application.Hoster.exe
The file is not signed completely with the correct personal key"
(translated from dutch)
Desktopclients work fine. We are working with the latest update for Windows Vista and Office 2007 compatibility.
Thanks for your help!

There is a download called Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 clients for Microsoft Office Outlook Compatibility Update (On Premise) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=740e1b3b-11c3-4aef-b2e3-8309e0cf1bb0&DisplayLang=en) part of which is an update to chapter 16 of the CRM Implementation guide (http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/e/e/aee1b205-3fba-4f44-a57a-e681b1b0d364/Outlook_2007Update.doc), and in this is section about 'Allowing for the Windows Firewall' where it suggests that if the crm user is not a local administrator then an administrator must change a windows firewall setting to allow the use of the the crm laptop client. The program you allow through Windows Firewall is Microsoft.Crm.Application.Hoster.exe - may be unrelated but thought it was worth mentioning.
