the Advance find window is keep crashing in mscrm 4.0 please help

It happens if you are quering it from a large amount of database. Please make sure that your all SQL services are running properly.

i have installed the new crm to the new server now i want to update the roll up to 14 but i can do this that give me error that the microsoft dynamics crm server is not on the system i am doing it because of that advance find problem also i have to import the organization and that organization has the build version of 3135 and the crm i have installed has the build version of 127 please help

Are you running setup on the server where crm is installed ?
could you please put up the trace log so that i can look in it ?
