I apologize in advance if this not the appropriate place for my question.
Our organization just upgraded to CRM 4.0, and while I have Administrator and Customizer roles assigned to me, Customization is not an option anywhere under the Settings area of CRM. Prior to upgrading, I had the ability to customize. I have found Customization in the tool bar under Go To, but when I click on it, nothing happens. What would account for this, and how do we correct it? Thank you.
UPDATE: The true issue seems to be a throwback to a 3.0 bug. If Outlook is up and running, Customization through the web client is not an option. Closing Outlook and clearing cookies and/or temporary internet files resolves the issue, as long as I never check my Inbox again. Any assistance resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
