CRM 2011 and Sharepoint integration: CRM user with Sharepoint access rights cannot add a document in CRM

Hi fellows,
Here is a run down of what am up against: CRM list component is installed, CRM is configured for using Sharepoint documents on several entities and the folders structure is created from the CRM with no issues. CRM users who have to upload documents have the proper privileges in Sharepoint (they can navigate to the Sharepoint site and upload documents directly).
When in CRM a CRM admin and regular Sharepoint user can:
- view the documents
- upload some new documents
- documents are displayed in a CRM grid
A regular CRM user who has access rights to Sharepoint on the other hand:
- cannot upload a document
- nor have a new directory created in Sharepoint (for an entity new record) with the error: insufficient privileges on Sharepoint
- documents are displayed in a Sharepoint iframe in the CRM
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks and regards.

Hi
Try to fiddle a little with the Internet Explorer settings. I had to turn on active X setting for it to work.

Problem solved: CRM users must have read access rights on the root site collection and not only on the CRM Sharepoint site and sub-folders!
Hope this will prove useful for others ;-)
