  Here is a custom Plugin which can help you in sending & receiving sms message in MS CRM. It also has the source code in case you want to edit or add your own to it.

  In case you want Bulk SMS to be sent, You can create a custom aspx page which will intiate the plugin for sms sending.
  
  Plus if you are interested in writing your own code. you can use either of this method
  1) Send SMS through some webservice
       e.g. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cpp/SendSmsThroughWS.aspx is a free webservice to send messages to india
  2) Send SMS using some custom .net Library
        http://www.logixmobile.com/downloads/softwares/index.asp ( you can download the sdk and other stuff from this URL)
  3) Send SMS using GSM
        http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/Sending_SMS_using_Net.aspx ( This may help you for this purpose)
