unload event error in crm 3.0

I'm getting the following error
ErrMsg: There was an error with this field's customised event.
field = crm form
event= unload
This happens when changing a particular attribute in a custom entity.
The strange thing is that not all users get this error. IE settings?
Any ideas why this is happening?

Check IE javascript enbale and also send more details regarding this.

Javascript is enabled.
update rollup 3 is not installed. However, as the user is getting the error in a production system and I can't replicate it on my dev system, which means that I cannot test whether the error is resolved by this update, there is little point in applying it at this point in time
