    Hi,

    I have a different issue here while working with the lead screen in ms crm 2011 i have been testing the lead screen and what i have found is in response date or date field in lead screen is not taking the date like "01-01-1111".Its is accepting all the dates other than "1111" year and only this year value it is not taking.

    Actually that date may not be used but as per my requirement that have to be acepted can i now how can i allow the date field to allow the above date.

    Anybody please help me out. Thanks in advance.

    CRM does not accept dates below 1900. Whenever we enter dates below 1900 it will give you a validation error like

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response so the date that is less than 1900 can't work . But is there any way to reset the default datetime value so that we can give value less than 1900.

    Yes, CRM will not accept the dates below 1900 not only from UI but also from service calls. You may have to fall down to a string field :(
