When we produce a report in CRM 2011 the amount fields contain a non-printable special character which when exported into Excel 2010 prevents us from summing the column. According to Windows Character Map the special character is called a Left to Right Mark.

How do you prevent CRM 2011 from inserting this character?

Our customer is not interested in summing the column in the report.  They are also not interested in cleansing the column in Excel after the import.

    Hi,

What entity are you running this report from? Can you provide a screenshot of what the report looks like?

    Thanks,

    Roshan

Thanks roscoNZ for your consideration of this matter.

It is a custom entity (not out of the box).  I have tried to include images, but am receiving a message stating "Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account".

I will try later to attach the images.

Let's see if I can now post images on this site.  With all the quirkiness that I've experienced since creating the account on Jan-31, my money is a continuation of rejection.
