How to remove the button add existing contact

Is it possible to remove the possibility to add an existing contact when you want to add a contact to an account?
I only want to see the button new: contact.

I like to know this also. I found out that the ID of that button is _MBtoplocAssocOneToMany2contactcustomeraccounts but I don't think you can get to it with JScript on the onLoad event of the account entity. It looks like the contact list along with the button is loaded into an IFRAME.

I dont think so you can change.
But you can creat custom lookup forms and achieve that.

Try removing the Append and AppendTo setting for that user role.

Adjusting the Append and AppendTo does not remove the Add Exsisting button only. Guess the hunt for a solution is still on.
