We need advice from an expert.

  • Our customer wants to do the initial charge of their respective customers and then once a month to clean the data tables (Contact, Account) and reload the data. We explained that this could not be, there are many related tables (Inccident, Product, etc.), but our customer insists, the customer asks us explanations with more power, why it is not feasible to do the cleaning tables?, I need advice an expert, what are the problems that this cleanup, which could happen with CRM?

  • There are 2 major problems with this idea:

    1. All CRM entities have a unique identifier that is generated on creation, and this identifier is used in all relationships. If accounts are deleted from CRM, then recreated, then all data related to the original accounts will not be related to the newly created accounts, thus making them worthless
    2. There are some scenarios where it becomes essentially impossible to delete CRM accounts or contacts in a supported way. An example is; if an account in linked to a closed order, the account cannot be deleted because it is related to an order, and the order cannot be deleted as CRM does not permit this
