    I installed speednet.com for a free trial. I did not want to purchase the product. I uninstalled the program but it just keeps trying to start-up and fails constantly. I have tried everything. I can not make it stop. It has tried to start hundreds of times repeately. I can not stop it or delete it.

    Any thoughts,

    Use Sysinternals' Autoruns (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx): you'll get the complete list of all the startup programs and services and you'll be able to disable that program or to completely delete the entry in the system that makes it to start at the system boot.
