Hi Beth, thanks for your time. i have a case! i just reported a funny looking, obvious pirate disk from afghanistan. i was on a service call to perfom technical work for a returning active duty soldier, at his hotel. he handed me a disk that is really poorly copied. i knew what to do! i submitted to the decorated soldier nd removed the disk from his room, asking him if i could take care of it. he was a bit shocked, young; said street vendor in some afghanistan city sold it to another soldier. i guess it made th rounds; it's a copy entitled windows Xp BlackEdition", and also has a poorly done art work on paper label disk; w/ 2007 dvd full version in red; and "bootablecd" in red. i ran it on my notebook live online vista service pack 1; knowing it would uilky be trapped and GND. sure enuf; it was! now it's a non-reproducable disk, beth! but even with my anti piracy reports, i am still trubled for a year attempting to simply activate my own "anytime upgrade disk; which i purchased from a geek squad best buy locaion in Anchorage, Ak. USA. since, i have re-installed several tmes on two notebooks and hoped it would run LEGAL. hence the reason i posted what i could, i believe i have posted or ran @ every darn WGA tool that exists, unless you can help network this info to someone with some MS security clout! i "was" a student at charter college until i found out different, well; i'd sure like to ge "legal!~EAGLE"~! Mrs. Beth! it is frustrating to keep as many others i hear and see statisitics of unsealed anttime upgrde disks that never work correctly, seems the initial batch from late 06' o early 07' beth. well, please forward; and i hope the best of a bright business dat to you!
