    I received Office Home and Student 2007 with my Acer laptop (a few years ago obviously) and I recently had to do a complete restore of it but when I try to run my Office 2007, it says that it has an invalid product key and to activate over the phone which says it isn't a valid product either.

    The Product Key that came with Home & Student is almost certainly NOT the one on the machine’s case – that’s for Windows.
    You should check the paperwork and disks that came with the PC if it was preinstalled, as it will have its own Product Key.
