hi,

i want a calendar control in my application.just like in the same appearance of our physical calendar.And i also want some controls in that calendar control for select the year and month.I also want to right click on a particular cell and can write some command for that cell.And also i want to read that particular date from cell and the command added to save it.Is it posiible??

This completely irks me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day, validation if fine. the next day, "your copy of windows is not genuine. Pay this..."

My system was puchased legally from a computer company. Windows has always been genuine.

Why would it fail one day rendering my system somewhat unstable?

Any help is appreciated. I would like this get fixed before any further steps are necessary!

I have 2 questions. First I live and work in Korea and want to use word 7 in English. Can I pay the package via your site even though my credit card and statements go to UK address? Second, the site mentions immediate digital downloading but as I progress with the payment it seems to infer shipping. Can you confirm I can download on payment. My windows system is English.

If you purchased your machine from a participating System Builder (www.localpcbuilder.com/eligible), but when you try to redeem a Windows bonus Pack are told you are ineligible, it may be because you have not yet activated your copy of Windows. Before posting here, please try the following steps:

Right click on your "My Computer" / "Computer" icon and select properties.
Scroll down to the last header, which should be "Windows activation".
If Windows has not yet been activated, do so now.
Try redeeming the offer again.

But Im also having XP installed in a different HDD thats in the same machine which I already have Windows 7.

I currently have a non-commercial version of Office 2007 (on XP) which I bought already installed on my Dell PC.
I did not include Access at the time of purchase as I did not expect to use it. I have a short-term need to obtain a copy of specifically Access 2002 to do some experimentation with and don't wish to pay full price for the 2007 version which I will not require into the future.
Is it possible to purchase this old version (second-hand) from a microsoft approved vendor? If so could someone recommend a safe purchase site.

We are getting this error on 2 Windows 2008 boxes, both recently built.

We are a MS Gold partner and are definitely within licencing rights. We installed from the proper ISO's on MSDN download.

A common issue for me is that when I arrive at a customers site / house, I will at some point need their windows installation media disk/s and the customer has either lost of damaged them. Obviously going out and buying a set of disks for each Microsoft product is prohibitively expensive, so where can we get a copy of the software to use in these situations where the customer's PC has a legitimate product sticker and code?

I click redeem now for windows vista home premium, it does the validation process and then redirects me to http://localpcbuilder.com/default.aspx without giving me any rebate codes. I bought my computer at a yard sale three years ago because I am a single mother with two kids, a mortgage, etc. in order to type medical reports as a second income and in order to do volunteer work writing grants requests for 501(c)3 non-profits. I made the monster mistake of entering the validation process and, not being a crook, pirate, hack or thief, and having never in my entire life thought about stealing anything from anybody, let alone steal from microsoft, I proceeded with the process only to have microsoft place spywear on my hard drive and uninstall important windows features from my machine. I entered that site in good faith and, because I don't have a spare $150 to pay in extortion to microsoft, microsoft essentially decided it was okay to steal from me (windows files from my hard drive). Your sites don't even come near addressing an issue like mine. Perhaps the folks at microsoft are making enough money to survive, but the rest of us, the working slobs, are really suffering in this economy, much of it at the hands of huge corporations. Can someone please tell me how to restore my machine back to "pre-validation" settings? Or is microsoft going to line up with the rest of the fat cats on wallstreet to extort the peasants?

When you went to the piracy page a few days ago there was a link to the WGA Kit pages. I've just submitted a counterfeit report (printed - Report ID : 20076) for a sealed WinXP Pro OEM pakage bought of eBay that's a "high-quality" fake - both holograms are stickers, etc. The item was pulled by eBay shortly after completing payment and I've tried and failed to contact the seller.

According to the WGA Offers FAQ page I should be eligible for a WGA Kit if I send in the counterfeit CD and packaging, along with a copy of the report and all other details. This page (and no other that I can find) doesn't give me any details as to where I should send to the package to make my claim.

D-Link Rebate Hassles

I thought Microsoft and others should know about the the way D-link is handling the rebate offer. After providing all of the information requested on the rebate form and sending it in with all requested information I get a postcard from Dlink telling me that the rebate request was rejected because "The receipt submitted did not show the purchase of PC with Microsoft Vista". I pulled out my copy of the rebate request and reread the following directions:

This Mail-In Rebate is valid on purchases of the above listed products at D-LinkShop between 10/25/07 and 5/15/08. To qualify for this rebate,

please make sure you complete ALL of the following steps:

1) Completely fill out this rebate form (PLEASE PRINT)

2) Include a copy of your dated D-LinkShop sales receipt from the qualifying purchase.

3) Include a Photocopy of the UPC CODE from the box of the qualifying products. See below for Sample.

4) Mail ALL of the above required documents to:

This asks for no evidence of the purchase of a PC with Vista installed. Upon speaking to a representative at the rebate center all he could do was direct me to the language on the rebate for which states:

In order to be eligible for this mail in rebate promotion, the customer must purchase a PC with Microsoft Vista. This mail in rebate is valid on the units when purchased at D-LinkShop. (Available only from www.localpcbuilder.com/playon)

I do not see this as an instruction to provide evidence of the purchase of a PC with Vista.

I'm sorry if I see this a ploy to hassle or trip up the customer so that they either do not qualify because they send in the required supplemental information too late or just become frustrated with the process and blow it off.

I don't think a large company with the reputation of Bill Gates and Microsoft should allow their customers to be hassled by such deceptive practices.

unable to submit software for replacement

I have completed the online "report piracy statement" 3 X's now. It has failed to provide a print option to submit as required for free replacement. Nor was I directed to a page with an address of where to send the packet. It has gone as far as to receive a false address from a microsoft phone employe. Google Earth says that street does not exist in the city I was directed to send it to. Pretty bad customer relation there.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

Hi,

I recently upgraded my computer to 8Gb of Ram and I need to switch to Vista 64 bit to enjoy it.

I went to the microsofto website to order the 64 bit DVD.

It has been down for weeks!!!
