Clicked Links for a saved popup page in word 2000 on Guest Virtual Machine with Windows 2000 not opening the page

  I have saved links for popup browser pages which contains media player,  these links are saved in a word 2000 on a machine which runs Guest Virtual Machine with Windows 2000 operating system.  When I clicked the link for first time it opens the url and player starts playing, but when same link clicked for second time then the popup window opens and closed within a second
