Answercannot turn off 3D or shadowing effect

    I am doing a brochure in microsoft publisher. Viewing the pictures and writing on screen there is no shadowing/3D effect, however, when I print, everything has a shadow. How can I eliminate this. I have tried using the shadow and 3D effect buttons on the tool bar but it doesn't change anything.
