Hi, Having read some of the postings I now know I have a blocked VLK.

    OGA Data-->
Office Status: 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 - 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003 - 100 Genuine
    OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
    Signed By: Microsoft
    Office Diagnostics: 77F760FE-153-80070002_7E90FEE8-175-80070002_B4D0AA8B-604-645_025D1FF3-230-1

The scenareo is that I was issued some years ago by my employer to install Office 2003 DVD as I worked maily from home (I an no longer with the organisation).
This was to replace my own Original Genuine Office 2002 (I still have the original disks and product key).

Is there any way to retain my present Office 2003 from my Original Office 2002 product key, e.g. upgrade or negoiate With Microsoft.

    Thanks & Regards
    Mart

Thanks for the help so far :-(

Simply, As above, howeverI have only recently left the organisation that suppied me with the blocked office copy.

I want to get genuine but want to retain my existing Office 2003 setup as it is a comprehensive installation, In other words if I buy a 2003 key can it be used to make the existing installation genuine.
Un-installing and re-installing to my existing setup and users would be a serious pain

I have been a long term office user hence my mentioning the 2002 edition.

If no one can help at least say so with a polite response.

    Regards

    Hello Martweb_UK,

Office 2003 is no longer offered by Microsoft.  However, if you are able to obtain a Genuine copy of Office 2003, you can try the steps given in support KB 895456http://support.microsoft.com/kb/895456 titled "How to change the product key for Office XP, for Office 2003, and for the 2007 Office system".

    Hope that helps,

    Thanks,

Had a look at the link, wish me luck.

Just out of interest how long are MS expecting to support and supply updates for Office 2003?

    Regards
