Purchase a new product key?
- I unknowingly bought a counterfiet version MS Office. I realise now why i got such a good deal. I thought it was because i am a studnt. I love MS Office 2003, can I purchase a new product key from Microsoft instead of buying new dics?

In order to receive the best support, we request all users initially download and run the Genuine Diagnostics tool at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012. Click the "Continue" button, click the "Copy" button, then paste the report into your post.
Microsoft no longer actively sells Office 2003. However, smaller online and local retailers, wholesalers, and distributors may still have some copies of Office 2003 available for purchase. If you decide to purchase Office from such a source, please be Extra Careful about from whom and what you buy, and take extra precautions such as making sure you buy with a credit card, just in case you inadvertently purchase counterfeit software.
If you are a qualifying university-level student or equivalent, Microsoft has an incredible deal on Office 2007 Ultimate called the "Ultimate Steal Deal." Here is the link if you are in the USA: http://www.microsoft.com/student/discounts/theultimatesteal-us/default.aspx
If you reside outside of the USA, Microsoft has an equivalent deal in many other countries as well.

Darin MS - Thanks for the info. My school is not listed but i submited it for consideration. I just ended up buying a new-retail product. Hopefully it will be ligit. Thanks again.
