    I have a Lenovo notebook and want to install microsoft works.  I placed the cd in and nothing happened.  Other software I tried to install was also ignored.  No instructions appear on the screen.  I have microsoft office only on a trial basis with my new computer and I simply want it to expire and install works for simple word processing projects.  I don't really want office.  Why can't I install any software?
