Annoying reminder to validate my Microsoft Office Suite

I own a valid copy of Microsoft Office. I bought it from the bookstore at the college where I was taking courses. It was in a sealed box with the prominent Microsoft logo and other markings. It passes validation when I run it against the Microsoft tools. If I click on Help->Activate product, I am notified that it is already activated. So why does it ask me to validate my copy every time I start Microsoft Office? Is is rather annoying and gives me more and more desire to dump the suite and move to an open source solution, like open office. When I pay money for software and follow all the rules, I expect the vendor to do the same. Tell me how to turn off this constant checking of my valid software. Perhaps you should look for ways to find the dishonest people and stop annoying your real customers!

Please go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919895 and try the 'Fix It' found under Method 3.

If the 'Fix It' doesn't automaticly resolve your "Unactivated yet showing Already Activated" Office issue, try the 'Let me Fix it myself' steps.

Tell up if that resolved the issue,
