    MS Security Essentials popped up, after a scan, with three items marked EXPLOIT, which apparently made my PC vulnerable. I followed the prompts to remove them. All was well until I restarted, then Windows wasn't valid, I needed a code, and it keeps reminding me often. I don't have a bootlegged copy-- my paid one just stopped working. Here's my report.     1. Click on the Start button and in the Start Search box type in: slui.exe 3 and click on the icon that appears.

    2. Type in the Windows 7 Home Premium 25-character product key that is affixed to your computer.

    3. Follow the instructions for phone activation (no charge).

    There were no phone activation buttons, which really confused me, but following your instructions seemed to work somehow, even though I swear I tried it before. Thank you!
