Answered Validation Problems- Possible answer for some?

    I got this from this site from Microsoft to "Vinman":

       Head to C\ Documents & Settings\ All users\ Application Data\ Windows Genuine Advantage(folder).    And delete that folder. I did  & I don"t  have any more "validation" messages. Windows Update did keep trying to download the accompaning update #  ??? that came w/ it, but I played w/ the Auto-update in Control Panel/ Windows Security.  If this helps anyone, great!
