This issue is not a Windows Genuine Advantage related issue. I suggest that you repost your Windows XP related inquiry in the Windows XP newsgroup: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general

Hello Allureici,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Forum. The purpose of this forum is the support of Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program. Your question is off topic. I suggest posting your question to Discussions in Windows XP General @ http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&lang=en&cr=US
Is it possible that System Restore is turned off? Check admin tools> Services and scroll to System Restore. Right click and check "properties". By the way, if you enable it, it is only necessary on the OS partition. Please reference the following articles @
