xp validation

i upgraded my board and now i need the pc validated again can some please help
note: i do not have the product key anymore but i can provide the installation id
i need the pc for school

If your copy of Windows came pre-installed then you broke the License agreement when you upgraded the motherboard, and will have to purchase a new Windows license.You can find your current Key (if the OS is running) using Belarc Advisor - www.belarc.comIf your license is a Retail one, it should be in the packaging with your XP CD.
