    1. Computer was custom built in the local PC store, and not built by a major PC manufacturer. (Asrock mobo ect)
OEM version of Xp Home was installed.

    2. Components I want to upgrade: CPU RAM GPU PSU + add another HDD. The one that is in now stays. MBO stays too.

    Question:

Will I have to buy another copy of windows XP or not? Or will I be able to validate my present copy?

Thank you for the answer in advance.

With an OEM version of Windows, you are permitted to upgrade all PC components except for the motherboard.
