Unanswered Cannot load ICE

    I had I C E on my computer, when asked to install lastest version I did, since then I have not been able to use ICE, I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but still unable to use the programme, just get massage saying " ICE has stopped working"

    I have Windows Vista Home premium, running 32 bit

    My guess is that somehow you don't have the correct c++ runtime installed.  The ICE installer is supposed to check for this, so I don't know why it isn't working in your case.  Could you try the following:

    Tell us what file version is reported when you right-click on C:\Windows\System32\msvcr100.dll, select "Properties", and look at the "Details" tab?

    If this file doesn't exist or our version is less than 10.0.30319.1 then you can install the update for 32bit Windows from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=A7B7A05E-6DE6-4D3A-A423-37BF0912DB84
