    Can an image be imported into ICE, rotated so the horizon is horizontal (or buildings vertical), and then used as an anchor image for the rest of the images to be mapped on?

    Is there a way to correct an imported image to have an object (eg building) set to a 90 degree vertical, without having to use an external editor, and then have the rest of the composite images use the first image as an anchor?

    Or would it be easier to have all the images combind, then use an external editor to correct the image?

    If your source images are rotated by 90 degrees, then you will get better results if you rotate them before importing them to ICE.

    For fine-grained adjustment of the rotation you should use the "orientation tool" (note: not available for "planar motion").  This is accessed via the "Tools>Orientation" menu item, or by pushing the cube icon in the toolbar.  Once in this mode you can perform fine adjustments of the panorama rotation.  When finished just hit "Apply" to re-compose the panorama in the new orientation.
