Can any one please help?
I previously had Microsoft Office 2003 which I had no problems with on my computer, which my technical man has now upgraded to Office 2010. Since the Office 2010 has been installed, I have had nothing but problems, however my technical man and the man I spoke to on the Microsoft Action pack line were also baffled. We did check via file menu, to go into Help and this confirms the product is activated ok.
The problems that I have experienced so far seem to be that any document with .doc or .xls that was created in Microsoft Office 2003 opens fine within office 2010. However anything sent through to me via email or created here in office 2010 or with the .docx or .xlsx extentions will just not open and so we have tried to save it in another format so that we can then open the cocument, but it normally only gives us the option to save saying ‘All Files (*.*)’ but older versions again give us other options to save a document as, so this is obviously causing more and more problems and we are therefore unable to open more and more files that are now coming through.
Please help if you know if there is there a solution to this problem.
