I see you can get a stocks yield as one of the fields from Yahoo finance. Does anyone know if it's possible to pass yield as an OFX field though? I'm currently successfully updating prices using the Pocketsense scripts into a dummy 'Ticker' account and I'm wondering what else can be sent.
I've checked http://www.microsoft.com/money/fi/ofxdoc.mspx and I can't see any YIELD tags

Unfortunately, no. Putting the Gain and the PriceAppreciation columns next to each is as good as I can think of, since the difference is the distibutions. The Total Return columns are as good as it gets.
See http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/money/thread/60e14c6f-8a34-4f48-a286-69f9d6a62dfb for a list of columns that don't rely on the Microsoft servers.

Many thanks for the suggestion. This will work fine for an 'as realised ' yield, and get the grey matter working for the percentage calcualation!
I did try passing the following as per my post on the Pocketsense blogger site
it just ignored it
