    I am trying to restore my microsoft money onto a new computer.  When I get to the "Name the Retored file" I get a message saying "The path name is invalid.  Please use a Valid path name".  I have no idea what do to.  The back-up file was saved & copied to the hard disk which is on my desktop.  Help please.

     Do not restore to the "default location".  Instead Browse to your Documents folder, and choose a new name.

    Once you restore, also go to your backup settings, and choose paths for the backups that exist on the new computer. Use Browse for that too. I would choose a place on a flash drive for your scheduled backup.
