Answered MS Money 04 to Sunset problems

    I've downloaded the "Deluxe" Sunset version of Money, but when it attempts to open my existing money file I get an error message that the money file can't be located.  It then provides the opportunity to open a backup file, but I get the same error message.  I'm using Money 2004 on Windows Vista.  Is Money 04 too old? Some setting I'm missing? Any ideas?  Thanks

    I figured out the problem myself.  It turned out that the password was causing the hangup.  It took a little bit of work to be rid of it, but once gone, the conversion went well.  I had to first do a repair of my money file.

    Just a place to start if anyone has similar problems.
