    Hi all,

After having installed the archiving service on my internal server, I would like to make it available for users on the unicast network (outside). Which ports do I need to publish on my ISA server in order for te remote clients to select the archive server?

I find the setup procedure for the archiver a little buggy, would like to discuss this next week when I am in Seattle. Have sent mail to Todd already, but he hasn't responded yet. Is he out of office? Hope to get to meet you guys next week!

    Thanx, Frank

    Hi Frank,

Good to see you are still looking into CXP -- I hope things are working out okay!

For archiver, you will need to open ports 8082 (TCP) and the usual 5004/5005 (UDP). Also, depending on where your MSSQL server is, you might need to open 1433 (TCP) as well. This shouldn't be a problem if your database is on the same side of your ISA server as the Archival Service, though (I don't think anyway).

    Good luck,
    Adam
