Locked SharePoint Services 3.0 Permission problem

    I have a user who is in a few site member groups.  Things used to work fine but now he cannot edit any existing document.  He can add and delete still.  I had him try this from two different computers with two different versions of Office with the same result.  I deleted him from one site and put him back.  No change.  Update:3/18/2011 - we did find a computer where the permissions worked properly.
