Is the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000 or 8000 Keyboard compatible to Macs?

Good evening,

I am currently looking for a good keyboard that works in both, Windows & Leopard and I came across these MS sets a couple times before but I am now not entirely sure whether they do pair (bluetooth wise) with the (recent 2008/2009) macPro's built-in BT without using the MS one, does Intellitype for Macs support them and do they work natively (read: during boot-up / when choosing to boot from another device I need to be able to press 'alt'... the apple bt ones obviously do work right from the power-on.. but do the ms's, too?)?

Anyone using the 8000 with a mac and has some experience on this?
