    Hi HD view team,

     

    I'm the developer of DevalVR viewer ( www.devalvr.com ) . I develop my viewer for all Windows browsers, IE, Firefox, and Opera. Really, Opera version is very similar to Firefox version, it only require some small changes.

     

    If I open a HD View page with Opera browser I see the message: "Sorry the HD View Beta is not supported on this platform. Must be Internet Explorer or Firefox on Windows XP, Server 2003, or Vista."

    Why Opera is not supported?

    Hi Armando,

     

    As you say we need to make some small changes to the Firefox version for it to run on Opera (and maybe Netscape, Safari, etc.); we plan to do that for the next version.

    How long do you think it will take for an Opera plugin to be developed?  I noticed that Silverlight doesn't work either, and I'd think that a combination of HDView and Silverlight would be natural mates.

    Also, when will it be available for Linux?
