Large Hole in full 360 spherical images
With the HDVIEW Beta 2 and DirectX 9 the image in the link (provided below) showed almost a complete image. The ceiling only had about a 10 pixel hole. With Beta 2 and Drectx10 it distorted the image in the ceiling. Now with Beta 3 in both versions of DirectX there is a large hole in the ceiling. Yes, with spherical projection the poles are pretty distorted so we put in a hole. Soon, we will have cube projection where that won't be an issue.- OK with the latest release the pole holes are gone.
