Hi. I'm new to HDView, and I really like it. I'm a glaciologist, working mostly in arctic Alaska, and I have gotten into gigapixel panoramas for both science and outreach. I've taken about 20 gigapixel images last summer of various glacier landscapes and am now starting to stitch and post them. HDView seems to be the best tool out there right now, and I'm glad to be using it.
You can find the first example of my work here: http://www.uaf.edu/water/faculty/nolan/mccall/anwrpanos/okpilak/okpilak_50k.htm
I would appreciate any comments as to whether this links works for others, as well as any HDView suggestions regarding the display. The image itself suffers from a few exposure and blending issues, it's really just a first attempt by me to go completely through the workflow from start to finish, and plan to post a full resolution version that is in better shape in the near future. I have a presentation to make tomorrow to the folks that manage ANWR, where I do this glacier work, and I'd to share this with them. My question is: How do I provide a download link on the web page for the HDView viewer? I found this page on the HDView site http://research.microsoft.com/research/downloads/details/345a52c3-fe44-4045-94b4-4b26a93a907c/details.aspx Is there a way I can add the download button to my page directly, or should I just send everyone to this page? Either way is fine, but just wanted to know if there was a direct means. I'm just a hack when it comes to HTML programming, so please forgive me if this is a very naive question, and please feel free to reply with low-level instructions.

Your first example is great. Congrats! I didn't really see any blending artifacts. I did notice a repeated blemish (most noticable if you zoom into the sky), which is probably caused by dirt on the lens or sensor.
If you are using the HD View example page (or hdmake generated page), then vistors to your page that don't have HD View will automatically be redirected to the install page. You can test this out yourself by uninstalling HDView from Add/Remove programs and visting your page.
