HDView Error when accessed via remote server, but works fine locally.
I am trying out HDViewer and all for possible inclusion in my extensive photographic
ecotour website at:A test page, (generated with ICE), is located at:
http://garywsherwin.com/FirstCrossingHD
When I test the file on a local disk directory, it works fine, but when I try it at the URL, it fails with:
Could not create scene from file:
http://garywsherwin.com/FirstCrossingHD/tiles/I_0/c_0/tile_0.wdp
hr=0x80004005
I have tried three times to reload the files on the server, using:
a full directory FTP
a file by file FTP
an upload of a .zip file of the containing directory and subsequent expansion.
All give the same error from the server, but work locally.

The issue is that your server isn't set up to serve wdp files. You need to speak with your system administrator to add the wdp mime type. This was discussed on this thread in the forum: http://forums.microsoft.com/msr/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2158370&SiteID=37

Thanks a bunch. I added the mime-type and everything works now. Shouldn't this be added to the usage instructions?
