    Since a recent update, my friend's computer has been printing the letter J when it should print a £ sign. This only occurs in one program, but as it is the one that he makes his living at it is serious for him. It

    I have checked the country settings, and they seem to be correct. There is one item that I am unable to check, and that is what are the default settings for Language for Non Unicode programs under the advanced button for regional settings.  Has anyone got a definitive list for the English UK language? Better still, if anyone else has had this problem, how did they solve it?
