It started asking me for a password. However, I have never used one. How do I get in to the computer?? PLEASE HELP ME!!! I downloaded a password removal tool to a flash drive. That did not work. I also added a new memory card thinking that would help. It didn't.Tue, 18 Aug 2009 02:13:44 Z2009-08-18T02:13:45Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/4baba86c-88bf-4119-adba-603ac5f4f64fhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/4baba86c-88bf-4119-adba-603ac5f4f64fsweetninelhttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=sweetninelsoftware counterfeiting..?? whyyyymy software is genuine...windows xp profesional,,,after my daughter was playing online games when i turn on my computer appears this...YOU MAY VICTIM OF A SOFTWARE COUNTERFEITING... WHY???? and what can i do?Fri, 14 Aug 2009 03:56:21 Z2009-08-14T16:13:00Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/eaa03295-2f0c-44e5-ad95-0c980d826cc3http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/eaa03295-2f0c-44e5-ad95-0c980d826cc3mblipkahttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=mblipkaCannot download legal copy of Outlook 2003Cannot download legitimate copy of Office 2003, or just the Outlook 2003 part, in computer after recovery from virus. Keep getting error message on download that a file cannot be found. File is G3561412.CAB cannot figure out why this would be missing from the disk, and also cannot seem to find it to download on Microsoft website. Can anyone help? thanks, m lipkaWed, 12 Aug 2009 00:42:45 Z2009-08-12T00:42:45Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/eb63c370-bb1d-4abb-80d3-f9aa4237e510http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/eb63c370-bb1d-4abb-80d3-f9aa4237e510JonathanChttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=JonathanCWant to do full system restoreHi i want to completely delete everything off my computer and reset it to the original factory settings. (for example i am typeing this and listening to music on the computer with the problem) as soon as i minimize a window to the tray, i cannot get it back, the time freezes, cant open the start menu, even if i had....say my computer open, i can no longer do anything with it, the mouse just turns to the little spinny circle.

also, as soon as the computer freezes, an unfamiliar icon appears in the tray in the bottom right of the screen (status bar?? i think) it looks like a planet, (its a circle with grid lines like a globe) i don't know if anybody has seen that icon before or not. so that makes me think that the virus takes a few moments before it starts, and as soon as it does start, it puts up its icon and locks windows explorer

this is my fist experiance ever with a virus, i have avast up to date, it didn't tell me anything, all the firewalls were and are still on,

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Wed, 08 Jul 2009 03:54:01 Z2009-11-12T00:32:38Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/b52932d1-ce64-473d-aaf7-37120360c965http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/b52932d1-ce64-473d-aaf7-37120360c965frno9http://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=frno9Task bar settings do not apply then window reads "not responding" and does not closeWhen I change my task bar setting to auto-hide and click apply my window looks like it loads to accept but it only stays loading then it says "not responding" and if you close this window then the icons disappear along with the task bar and the setting returns to its default settings.Sat, 04 Jul 2009 05:17:00 Z2009-07-04T05:17:01Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/52a36df2-afdc-44ab-a89d-875dd51640b3http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msrhowtohelp/thread/52a36df2-afdc-44ab-a89d-875dd51640b3Dave Martinezhttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Dave%20MartinezPhoto Gallery wants to InstallSoon after i started with qwest windows live my pc on startup wants to install PHOTO GALLERY and then says I need to insert a disk which I don't have and don't want to install this.
