QuestionCan't install Venue Service on Windows XP

    Hello,

I try to install Archive Service (version 4.0) on WindowsXP. During the installation I get the following error message:

Exception occurred while initiating the installation:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly
'file:///C:\WINDOWS\system32\Files\Microsoft' or one of it dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

After that the installation process is aborted. I do not even have 'Files' directory in my Windows\system32. Any ideas on this one?

I have ConerenceXP client and Archive Service installed already, both working fine.

    Thanks,

    Przemek.

    Przemek,

It isn't clear to me if your problem is really with Venue Service or Archive Service (since you mention both).

I don't appear to have a Files directory under system32 either.

If it is Venue Service that you are having a problem with, do you have IIS installed?

    Hello,

sorry, stupid mistake - I can not install Venue Service. I also do not have Files directory under system32; that is why this problem seems so strange to me. However, I managed to build and run Venue Service source code and this fine to me since I am more interested in development.

    Thank you for your answer.

    Przemek.
