If you have any other firewall, antivirus, or antispyware programs on your computer uninstalling them may resolve the issue. If you don't have other firewall, antivirus, or antispyware programs on your computer uninstall One Care, run the install cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943 then reinstall One Care. If you then cannot access the internet with the One Care firewall turned on please contact support. I have a Compaq Presario PC.  If I have Onecare's firewall activated, the computer intermittently denies me access to the internet.  I have tried unistalling Onecare, using the cleanup tool, and reinstalling Onecare, but no luck.  I'm currently running Onecare with the firewall off and the Windows firewall on.  If I reboot I can use the computer.  I've been searching forums and it would appear this issue existed as far back as 2007.  It does not appear to have been resolved by Microsoft.  This is particularly frustrating because I'm paying for this service.
