MY LAST RECIENEVED EMAIL WAS ON 7/3/2010

I am no longer getting emails at my email address. I believe it is somehow linked to my aol account that I tried to close 5 yrs. ago. I don't know if that is possible, but my future exhusband will not close that aol account that he signed me up for. I called aol fraud and they said I wasn't the orimary person to sign up and I couldn't access any information. I called my husband and he said he wouldn't help me out. Maybe someone else has hacked into my email, I just don't know enough about computers and only recently found this out about my live.com account. Can anyone help me ask the right questions so I don't sound paranoid. I never changed my personal quetions for my I.D. like my profile said that I did. I contacted live. com and asked them to send an email to my father and to my new one., reluctantly. They did neither. So something is wrong. I know my banks and credit cards are linked to the live.com account still. I am concerned with identity theft, but my abusive husband could also be at the bottom of this behavior. Either way I ought to be able to cancel these accounts and not allow him access....Thanks for answering, Chris

You're off topic for this forum, which is dedicated to Windows Live OneCare.
Help and Support for Windows Live Hotmail can be found at http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=1
If you cannot reset the password through the usual means, see this page for information on how to get help with it:
http://windowslivehelp.com/solution.aspx?solutionid=bf5d34bf-db28-44ca-ac9a-93838d81b2d6
There is a form to use that Support will act on, but it can take more than a day for them to deal with it. Be sure to enter both the account you cannot access and another account where they can reach you. Once you regain access to the account be sure to set an alternate email address and secret questions and answers for account security at http://account.live.com

Furthermore, you should contact your banks so that they are not using the account that you cannot access at this time.
Note that if you have not accessed your @live address in a long time, it is possible that the account was closed due to inactivity. I don't recall the current period of inactivity, but you may be at that point. It used to be 120 days for free accounts.

Monday, February 28, 2011 7:08 PMOkay, honestly I know this may not be the right forum for this, but my live account keeps getting hacked. I know that it's someone that cares about my life because they keep changing things and saying things to people. Is there a way to figure out the IP I last signed in from or block all other computers other than mine? I'm so tired of this. Thanks :)

Help and Support for Windows Live Hotmail and other Windows Live products and services - http://windowslivehelp.comIt would seem that your password is not secure or someone has access to your PC where you've saved your login information or your PC itself has been hacked and a keylogger is capturing the login information and allowing someone to access your account with your actual credentials.
I suggest a full scan with your up to date antivirus software.
