AnswerOne care discontinuation concern

    I received the email from MS about this but the email also requested updating of my acct info. My concern was that the email had all the hallmarks of someone just trying to get your acct info. Total lack of trust here.. The 6 month extension seemed like the carrot  to get the info. I have not responded to that.

    You can check your account information by logging in securely at https://billing.microsoft.com - you never want to click through from an email to provide information unless you are absolutely certain of the source.
    However, the free 6 month extension doesn't require you to accept - the extension was/is automatic and takes effect when the account was scheduled to expire.
